I have a yellow sun coral and a orange sun coral frag. Since I started feeding them with coral frenzy they both are now open.
The yellow s small but opens most of the day.
The brite orange has large fat branches and is beautiful when it opens but it is basically shut during the day unlike the yellow one.
Now this is probably a stupid question but is there a way to get it to open during the day? Or get it on the schedule that the rest of my tank is on? possibly feeding it during the day? Like I said, probably a dumb question....

Not a dumb question. Most of the sun corals or tubastrea are nocturnal species. However I have found that offering food during the day can get them to open and some do come out during the day if just to say "hello"! The only dumb question is the one you don't ask
