Getting ready to startup a SPS tank. Any words of advice?
Be sure to include plenty of room for different sps frags o when building your scape. I love including overhangs and shootouts from the rockwork for my acro frags. Aside from this have plenty of flow, especially behind the rock work- this will allow detritus to settle in the front of your tank and it will be easy to siphon... or you could use my method, go bare bottom, and blast the bottom with flow so you never have to siphon lol.

thanks….I would luv to use all reef branches for the aquascapes but it’s expensive and no guarantees they will survive the shipping.

I like to use dry rock personally, no nasty hitchhikers or prolonged cycles. Marco Rocks makes an awesome dry shelf variety that works wonders in SPS tanks
