The last two days the polyps on my tropic thunder have sank back into the skin, this is the only Montipora showing this behaviour although my Acropora has not had the them out since I received it, I understand from a previous thread I posted that the light is not strong enough to keep it alive long term (so prime 16HD)
The original growth I was seeing whilst I had dyno’s has reduced since I beat them but my Coraline algae is taking over everything, would this cause I slowdown in coral growth?
Sorry for all the questions.
Thanks Chris

Phosphates at 0 is a concern and could very well be the cause
Thanks reef panda I’ve dosed some neophos this morning as I do struggle to keep it above 0 but then I’m not 100% sure on the accuracy of my test kit (jbj low range phos kit)

it seems almost shaded in the picture?

But it should not be on the sand, it should be on top of the rocks in higher light and higher flow. You've got your lps at the top and sps at the bottom, it should be the other way around.

It is partially shaded but has been like this for the last 4 months and was growing a lot till I beat dynos then the growth slowed right down. Polyps were fully out till 2 days ago. Will try it higher in the tank 👍🏻
