So I just fed my corals and one of my palythoa heads stayed open and just swelled up unlike how it usually reacts to food. After about 10-15 minutes it started going back down. I am not really worried, just curious to see if anyone had some insight on this? Is this just another method of them eating as opposed to catching food and closing? You can see the head on the right closed up to eat as normal.

Very interesting. At first my irrational mind thought the polyp was bailing out lol.

And that is awesome that you have an Utter Chaos. Those are absolutely gorgeous!

They are nice and surprisingly my first zoa i got. Ive fragged it a bunch since so it wont take my whole rock
Its a fast grower. But yes between it and my blazing agave i think its paly thing.
My sunny ds dont do it often if ever but chaos and blazing

That's some nice progress you got there! We seem to have similar taste in zoa selection. I hope my rocks will look like that someday. I've got a young tank with nothing but frags!
