Sure can!
I use my plane glue for my coral :-)

As I understand it any Super Glue that is Cyanoacrylate based are safe.

Just make sure to use the Gel! The other stuff is way to messy.

I use a container of saltwater to cure the thin glue and dip the plug, glue, dip about 4 times to make a good base.
If you dip in the tank to make the base you will get thin layers of glue on top of the water floating around and into the overflow (or the fish try to eat it)
