Hi, so I made a diy lid to prevent my new goby from escaping, it turned out well but I noticed that there was a film of super glue on the surface of the water. I quickly did a water change and got 75% out but the other remains. However, it either sank or got sucked in my filter. Are my fish going to be okay?

Yep, I've had that happen. It's fine. Heck, I glue things to other things using superglue, then put them in the tank.

I try to pick up that film, if fresh, before a fish thinks its food and glues his mouth shut.
That is where the manna from heaven normally appears.
Maybe overly cautious.

I agree with everyone else. Should not be a problem. I even had hermit crabs that pick at the glue (not sure if they eat it or not) after I Re-glue frags down hasn’t been an issue.

I never use that much glue it is just a light film that is from the hardening Super glue it gets hard as soon as you put it in the water well the outer mist layer u can see it hardening it gets cloudy then turns white.

Does the super glue make your protein skimmer go crazy?
