Super shy blue jaw in my QT !!!!

That's typical for them. When I first got my female, I would dump a little food in & move out if site. They are pretty timid triggers. She comes right out with the other fish during feeding times, but is a little skittish.

Yeah when I dump the food he comes right out then right back to his safe spot

Sounds like he's doing well. Keep it up and he should be fine.
