How long does a tank need to be running to support a scoly?
We always wait until the tank has cycled before we add any new corals. There's honestly no set time for a tank to be able to support a scoly or other corals. After the tank has cycled, the most important thing is to get your parameters steady and consistent before you start adding corals (salinity, alk, calcium, magnesium, etc). That's the number one most important factor. They do live quite well! Thanks for reaching out!
