I bought a mccsoskers flasher . He's in acclamation box but got out somehow while I was out, I caught him and secured box but it appears he got bullied, he' swimming sideways. Tankmates include lawnmower blenny, occellaris clown and red lined wrasse, I'm guessing it' the wrasse. Will he recover? He did eat a little. Also I see no apparent injuries.

I feel that if a fish is eating it still hasn't a chance. Watch for any signs of infection but there isn't much you can do at this point other than watch and wait.

He doesn't look too bad in the video. However, he might benefit from being in QT so you can observe his behavior outside of the box and get some meals in him before having to compete in the DT.

Just an update, after 4 days in acclamation box he started swimming normal. All other fish stopped paying attention to him so I released today and after one little spat with the other wrasse, they are all happily swimming together!

I was going to say, wrasse behave strangely when new, and especially in qt or acclimation boxes. Many often assume the worst, but it’s usually no big deal :)

Glad it worked out well for you!
