Going to put a t-5 2 54watt bulb retro fit kit in my canopy. The back of the canopy is open, was wondering if I need a fan or fans for these? And how would you wire a computer fan or etc to go to a apex?

Yea, in the enclosed top, using HO lighting, it will get alittle warm in there. You'll want to blow some of the hot air out.

I don't use one on mine, but my bulbs are out in the open. I do know they extend the life of your bulbs so I'd add one.

Nice, thanks for input guys. Going to have 3 reefbreeders value fixture with 2 t-5 in this canopy. Think those fans will be perfect.
