T-5's how high off the water?

Hey guys I am building my canopy right now and I am wondering how high my t-5's should be off the water. I have 1 250 hqi and 4 t-5s. I was thinking 5-8"
 
After setting up the canopy they are 6" off the water. But they are only actinics so par really is not important.
 
i would say as close as possible
main reason people say to raise mh type lights is because of heat and splashing issues
now im not saying to put the light right on the water or anything like that
since t5's dont emit as much heat i wouldnt worry about the height of the t5's
