So, thought this was an interesting comment made by a marine biologist during a recent city aquarium visit.
Noticed that they had a Quantum T5 still hanging that was no longer in service, but only a smaller led light running.
I asked about why they switched, thinking heat or cost.
Answer I got was that the old lights agitated the fish and animals, and the LEDs don't so they switched across the board.
First time hearing that. Anyone have any evidence to support either way?
