T5 Photoperiod

I would like to hear the photoperiod of your T5 tank. Looking for the photoperiod, tank size, fixture type, bulbs, and height above tank, etc. Thanks.

I run mine for 8 hours, 120g tank, DIY 4 bulb 54w overdriven by 15 percent and DIY 2 bulb 54w, 3 actinic bulbs, and 3 10k, 12" above the water.

My favorite T5 tank is a 90 gall full of Echinos, peach Pacific gorgonian (zoox) and purple photosynthetic (cyano) sponge.

Bulbs 3" off the surface (always try to keep fluorescents as close as safely possible) with clip on reflectors for each bulb

four 4ft bulbs. UVL brand...will check the types but basically 3:1 white to blue

9 hours.

Corals growing rapidly although that has less to do with lighting and more to do with feeding and water flow.

We run aquatinics constellation 14x 39 watt bulbs over a 180g. 2x ATI Blue+ and 2x KZ Fiji Purple from 11:00a.m to 9:00 p.m. Then from 12:00-8:00 the rest including the above bulbs for a total of 6x ATI Blue+, 4x ATI Aquablue and 4x KZ Fiji Purple.

80% sps with great color and growth.
