Hey guys new to the forum. I just finished installing a T5 retrokit into my 40 breeder canopy. 3x39w is what I'm planning to add with an AI Vega. I bought the kit from a friend for 30$ and I did to it was add more wire to fit.

Also came with reflectors not sure what brand they are.

Noticed the the clips had rust so I tossed them away.

So Installed the kit with the reflectors onto the canopy.

Ill head to Lowes in the morning to pick up some wire tape to prevent salt creep on them.

I'm new to this so I what I can do. Any other suggestions. Should I buy new clips and have the reflector closer to the bulb? Or should I get new reflectors? What are the best reflectors you guys suggest?

You can shim the reflector lower towards the lights, using a plastic roller.
