T5's to Led's for SPS

I went from aquatinics t5 to 2 radions on my 120 4x2x2 saved about 200w and the $200 in lamp cost ea yr.the clams and sps have about the same growth rate at my settings so no change there.you just have to adjust slow to led

I went from T5 to LED and back to T5 again.
The T5 give you much better color

I have 2x250w mh right now on a 6ft tank. So the middle is darker and has been a problem. I decided to get a kessil 350w for middle. So I can have best of both worlds and see if theres a difference. I was going to go all LEDs until I saw multipul SPS tanks with colors consistantly more dull than mine. After seeing numerous people on here say it, and looking at local tanks LPS thrives under LEDs, and SPS will color out more under MH/t5, personal oppinion.

Im sorry I have leds on my tank for 2 years , had MH had T5. One thing I can tell you all is I never had faster growth and brighter colors when I had my MH and T5 . Led if done right will give you faster growth and brighter color. 1000% Facet . I bet most of you with led that sps lack color run you day lights at 8 hours , if so that's your problem led put out more spectrum then MH or t5 ,That's why a par meter cant pick up the true par from leds I only run my led 12h blue and 5 hour whites .
