If I had to choose only one Tang for that size tank, I would stick with the Purple Tang. I wasn't trying to persuade you from the Purple, just letting you know that the PBT should still be on the table if you really wanted it since it was higher on your list in the first place.

I will say that none of my Tangs mess with any other fish besides each other...well almost. I have the weirdest Harlequin Tusk ever and he likes to mimic the Tangs and will swim with them and then tail slap them even though he can't do any damage at all with his tail. That upsets the Purple and Achilles a bit, but the PBT and Hippo love interacting with him. I know he isn't being aggressive since he is the least aggressive fish I have, (besides feeding time). He is just really weird. He sometimes swims upside down the entire length of the tank and then right side up and then upside down again. Maybe you should get a Tusk. :p
