So I'm thinking of giving the boot to my Rabbitfish as he is picking on my corals. He has almost finished off my bea-u-ti-ful green striped mushroom (was growing so nicely, even had a slight purplish tint), and I have seen him nipping at my candycane and has eater two new little mouths off my favia. GRRRR!
I want to replace hime with a large-ish fish, one of comparable size, that is peaceful (I don't like bullies), won't touch the corals, and is appropriate for my tank size (90g) because I don't have plans to upgrade. I've looked at some of the tangs and have been reading others' posts, but I haven't found a post from someone with a 90g, and want more specific thoughts.
Specs: 90g mixed reef (no sps as of yet)
30g sump
skimmer
about 100 lb live rock in DT
2 clowns (a paired black&white and an regular ocellaris
one jawfish
one chromis
2 cleaner shrimp
2 turbo snails
a bevy of hermits
one tube anemone

Any thoughts? And I realize nothing is guaranteed, but I really want a fish that in all probability will not touch the corals.
Thanks!

When I had my 90 I had a yellow tang.

My rockwork had a lot of hiding places.

No problems to report.

I have a 90g mixed reef, about 110lbs of live rock, 60lbs live sand. Lots of caves and tunnels. I have a Yellow Eyed Kole Tang and a One Spot Fox Face. Both are model citizens always running around cleaning and being active. Neither has had any issues with my clown, diamond goby, inverts, or corals. Kolbe is the codependent one of the group always making sure someone is nearby. If he finds himself alone, he'll go find the others and start working where they are.
