Welcome. The fish when they go into the DT may be ok after appropriate QT (i.e. TTM, etc.) But the DT likely has disease. Fish looks like Velvet especially in view of rapid onset and death. 72 day fallow would be prudent.
Wouldn’t it affect the clownfish? They’ve been fine....

Hmmm...how do they get that? Is was in qt for a month?
Stress, chills, poor diet, sick fish introduced with no visible signs and even poor water quality

They’re protective slime coats will help. When I had an outbreak, my clowns and gobies were the ones that showed no signs

I had an outbreak of Velvet in my DT. All the fish died except 3 chalk bass. It seems they had developed an immunity but could still harbor the disease. Also the disease is otherwise present in the water column and aquascape. I had to go fallow for 72 days and now restocking. If the fish go into the DT after QT as you say, it is logical there is disease in the DT.

Welcome! how long are you waiting between adding new stock after the prior deaths? If your display has velvet the new fish are probably getting infected from the velvet still in the tank if added within 76 days or so.
Until this tang we never say signs of velvet. We just chalked it up to stress....‍♀️...we qt fish for 30 days

It seems to me you have disease in your display tank. I would stop adding fish as you probably need to remove, treat, and go fallow.

That Kole Tang pic is blurry but he looks to be covered in something. Guessing velvet by the high death rate.
