Hey everyone,

Has anyone ever switched out just the front panel, or even a couple panels of glass? I have a 220 gallon tank, custom overflow glass the entire length of the tank and it's a bean-animal set-up. I'd like to go low iron glass on the front and side panel, just wondering if it can be done, is it worth it?

Thanks,
Dan

While it can de done I wouldn’t feel safe doing unless you have built the aquarium your self. It’s easy for things to go south.
perhaps a tank builder would take up the task.

Thanks, not if I'm going to use it yet, maybe a frwshwater tank planted. It's 29 inches deep so it take a lot of lighting.

I'm not sure it would be worth the effort - once a tank is filled with water I have not really been able to tell low iron glass from regular.
