I do yoga for my back. A Lady in front of me was balancing on one foot the other on her calf with her arms in the air like a flamingo. I complimented her on that after the class. She said I'm 88👶
Some pensioners are simply amazing with such dexterity.

My mum was a dancer. If at a wedding or other function she would be the first on the dance floor
I grew up in the 60s and 70s during the disco era and I would also be the first one on the dance floor.

I still am if there is dancing music and a willing lady. 😎

I was interviewed today on WLIW FM radio station in Southampton Long Island.

It's about my time in Vietnam and like my fish book, 100% of the profits goes to Wounded Warriors and Tunnels to Towers and I post the receipts on here.

( I am not looking for anyone to buy the book, this interview covers a lot of it anyway. ) 😀

(If this is not allowed, delete it)

I didn't even see it yet as it just came out and my wife wants to see it so she won't let me see it until she is with me. 😎

Great interview, Paul!

Just listened to your story Paul. Words escape me, what can I say. Amazing is just one but there are so many more WOW!

You are within a few short days 1 year older than me and I can't begin to think just what you went through, simply incredible. You will of course have just scratched the surface of your time in Nam and the horrors you witnessed there as told in the interview. God bless you my friend. I will see if your book is available on Amazon UK and buy it.

EDIT.
Bought off Amazon UK.

Thanks Atoll and Crusso. I don't exactly write like Hemmingway so it may read more like "Horton Hears a Who".

Most of the book is very light and I didn't want to focus on combat because that has been done to death and I only wrote that in the last chapter. It's more about the living conditions, but I hope you enjoy it.

I dedicated the book to the almost 40 guys who lost their life in that battle and I don't keep a penny of it.

It's as exciting and horrifying as keeping a reef tank. 😳

I had a girlfriend that was a seamstress she made a mauve jumpsuit for me and I did the John Travolta all night in it. The things we did for Looooove 🤣

Great interview, Paul.

Thank you for your service, and God bless both you and Dale.

I can see we don't drink much whisky anymore because I just found this bottle from 1967 in my liquor cabinet.

A poignant, honest example of why when you say to a person who has served in the military "thank you for your service" it should come directly from the heart.

I always thank Veterans Alice, especially the guys from the Greatest Generation who are all but gone now. They gave us this freedom that many people today don't recognize or even know about.

I taught my Grand Son to always thank Veterans, and he does. It's just a small sign of respect that is mostly gone now.

Last night we went to a close friends house for a Friendsgiving dinner. There was 22 of our other close friends there. 😀

Poppies every year , and A simple moment of silence at 11 AM on November eleventh 11/11/11. Up here in this screwed Country they bureaucrats s who never fought or Sacrificed think its a good idea that what they Like to call Inclusion , that you cant argue against without being called a Racist . not allow Military Chaplin's to offer Prayer at the Memorial Services . Atheists are very clever

Freenow, with all the Chaos at dinner last night I called for quiet and we all held hands and said Grace. During that, I also thanked the veterans and active duty service people for what they did and what they are doing now in spite of very few people remembering their sacrifice.

Soon we will be placing wreaths on the graves of every Veteran in Calverton cemetery near my home which is the largest military cemetery in the US.

It's the least we can do, but with the 500 or so people living in my community, about 8 of us do it. 😳

I could go on forever about people who think they are entitled. A little different but a few years ago I was at my Mother in Laws for Christmas dinner . After the Dinner I went upstairs because my Wife's 3 sisters and her love to talk , and they are loud. My Sister in law , and her atheist husband adopted a boy to prove what perfect parents they could be. She even stated that she was going to raise a perfect Child. Since my wife and I had three , I took that as a huge insult . She is educated ( high school Drama Teacher so is the Husband who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth but totally ignorant . Anyway the children ( kids are baby goats 😁) were watching tv. On came an ad for the Military. This adopted boy made a snide remark about it. I know it came from his Father. I said to him "Kyle if it weren't for the military which my Father was in and fought in WW2 you would have been burnt in an oven by now " That shut him up. I could not tell you where a Military Cemetery is around me or anywhere. Pretty sad
