Here is few pics I promised... This tank is done by professional with my help so I get discount (bringing coffie, helping with holding and stuff)... :-)
btw this glass rods is not something I do on my own, it is common on DIY rimless tanks....

Pics are perfect. So the bars are supposed to stop the front and back from bowing?

Yes, for tank this dimension and with glass this size it is not needed but they told me ".....it do not cost you but just in case" .... so be it... :-)
In all shops here if you order custom rimless tank they made it with this rods and even more for larger tanks...

I'm talking about 1/4 inch round rods in all vertical corners to reinforce the glass to glass joins it basically will give more corner strength in the joins. That size tank with 1/2 inch glass shouldn't flex

Going in the morning to check on glass prices here close to me. It will really be the depending factor it I attempt to build this tank. If their price are as high as I think their gonna be it's probably not gonna happen.
