Coming back after a crash ,

What caused the crash and how did you fix the problem? Thanks
Most corals went black and dying ICP /Osmose test said it was polluted water supply and high zinc after the water supplier flushed pipes ( 3 times within 3 months ) the 7 stage RO unit full of crap and needed to be stripped and all resins and filters replaced . removed all dead corals and 100% water change and syphoned sand bed and monthly ICP tests till it was back as it was either a close down or have a good go . Upgraded dastaco controller and drilled skimmer to feed op into it to raise PH and just relying on water weekly changes to see how it went .After 3 months seeing some positive signs i started daily dosing CE products and nothing else will be going into the tank i can still see corals that have not fully recovered and reaching proper colouration but getting there still sick that i lost a lot of high end corals but sticking with what ive got and just fragging remaining corals there are some hardy bits that have been in the tank a long time as its 7 year old tank a lot of hard work but if it carries on it will be worth it if not a shut down and i will be out of the hobby.
