hey guys! so i am going to begin my cycling process hopefully soon. however, the stand i am going to put my tank on has a 10 gallon freshwater fish tank on it now. Is it pointless to begin cycling the new fish tank. Then, when the current freshwater fish dies, change the water of the cycling tank and move it to the place where the fresh water tank was? would i have to repeat the cycling process again?

Shouldn't be a problem, just drain the cycled tank into Rubbermaid tubs. Then move and refill.
