Tank parameters???

Currently building a 40g breeder, my first saltwater tank. Looking to have softies and lps in the tank. I’ve done my research and have a good idea on the parameters but still see multiple answers. What would be the best parameters for this system. Also, what kind of salt would work. Please help and thank you in advance

9 ALK
440 Cal
1350 Mag
<10 Nitrate
.03 Phos
8.1-8.4 PH

 

[Spare time]

Easiest would be
steady alk from 8-12 KH
Calcium 400-500
Magnesium 1300-1500
Nitrate 5-15
Phosphate 0.03-0.1
pH 8-8.3


As for salt type, I like how fast red sea mixes and I use their coral pro when doing water changes. However, any salt will do.
