Hey everyone, I'm planning on getting a custom tank built to roughing the same footprint as a red sea 250 but without the leaks. I'm looking to build my own stand to keep costs down. I'm planning on either using steel or aluminum. I like the idea of aluminum because it won't rust but I think it will be easier and cheaper for me to use some carbon square tubing. I'm looking for some advice, tips or things someone who's already done this wish they did instead. Thanks 👍

I would suggest if you go the metal route, to have the stand power coated instead of paint. I like 80/20 aluminum for the reason one can change the stand in the future besides not rusting.
