Ok so I have a little issue I have a 75gal I want to build a stand for but I want to put a 40 breeder under it . The problem I'm having is the 40 breeder is deeper then the 75. so how would I go about making the bottom bigger then the top to fit the sump in the stand

I was thinking sense my tank is in a corner I can not use a center brace in the back and make a removable section to make the stand up to 10 inches deeper

Before I stick my two cents in
1. what is you building skill level?
2 I would need measurements for your area that you want to use and measurements for your tanks
3. a sketch of what you expect.

I would help and not charge. I could come up with a design and CAD the design and either you guys can built it or take to a cabinet shop and they could built the cabinet you are looking for. For my setup this is the drawing and how it turned out.

It's a crude drawing but the measurements are there and I'd like to avoid center supports

I was thinking of using 3 sheets of 3/4 ply and laminate it together
