Tank stand?

I have a 60”x30”x24” tank that I want to setup and ide like to build the stand out of 2x4s my only concern is the weight. Should I get a steel stand or will a solid reinforced wood stand do?

The tank is acrylic.

A wood stand will be more than ample to support your tank.

Following the plan in the link below will supply you with what you need. You can skin it any way you wish after having the frame.
