I did some digging on here but wanted to get details on my specific situation.
I have a 72 gallon bowfront with a 33 gallon sump currently. It's been good and stable without any issues. I siphon half the sand weekly when doing a water change.
I went to pick up lights that I bought on FB and got offered a Red Sea 525 XL for an insane deal that I could not pass up.
I did some research on here and understand I need to put my fish in a container with a pump and heater. Do I put my rock in there as well with them? I have wrasses so I was going to put a container with sand in there too, good idea?
Onto the sandbed, it's only 3 months old and as I said before siphon once a week for half of it. Do I need to clean and rinse it all? I am fine with doing what is best I just don't want to have to cycle again because I need to put the fish back in.
I have been battling a bit of ich, it comes and goes and I get a few spots on my foxface and coral beauty. With the move do I need to do anything differently?
Anything else major I am missing?
Any tips to make it smoother?
