Hello all, I am looking to upgrade my tank from my current 40 gallon set up into the 150+ range. I’m looking primarily for a long tank that is suitable for tangs.

Just wanted to get people’s opinions on what brand is respected in the industry in terms of longevity and quality. Also, any of these have upcoming sales around Thanksgiving?

Appreciate all the input.

I recently saw a couple, custom built Glass Cages Aquarium. They're USA built in Tennessee. I was quite impressed with the tanks I saw. The communication I received from them when I inquired was great too. I will highly consider them for my next tank.

Any thoughts on the Fiji ext series?

Waterbox has a Blue Friday sale I believe this week. That’s when I bought mine last year, good deals. Same for Black Friday later this month.

I think as long as you stay away from redsea you should be good. I would look for one that has features you like as well as a footprint that fits. And of course a price within my budget. I looked at Cade but the ATO reservoir built onto the tank was a deal breaker because too much space is lost in the display. I went a WB 330.7 when I was upgrading my 180g. It been running over 3 years so far with no complaints. A few months ago I set up an eshopps Mariner MP100 so I could move out of my ailing reefer 300 and am very happy. It's my first peninsula and I can't recommend one enough if you have a spot. Most of my tanks have been against the wall usually in a corner so viewing was limited. Having both long sides viewable is awesome. I haven't seen any sales recently but I got mine when they were on sale I think 15% off. They're usually in stock and ready to ship.
