So, I was originally planning on putting either a 54 or 92 gallon corner tank in my living room. Decided the 54 was too small and I'm more likely to hit the lottery than to find a reef ready 92. I switched gears and am now going with a 120!!! Here's where I am so far!

XR15 over my 28 Gallon now - need to get at least one more.

120 is a great size! Looking forward to seeing the build and more pictures, Apex is definitely the way to go, love mine.

What's the story on the tower rack with all the wires? Can't imagine having all that BEFORE all the aquarium equipment gets installed  LOL

 LOL
That's all my AV equipment for the TV in the other room. No wires in there and only had a day or two to get it all set up. I'm going to mount a new shelf from the joists and tidy up the wiring a TON. It will be sweet!

Some day I want a dedicated fish room like that. My disorganized wires never bothered me until recently, now the clutter jammed behind the tank stand is driving me nuts!

Moved some electricity and put in a new outlet inside the rack so there are NO wires between the floor and the rack, don't have a pic of that.

Cut the hole, and of course there's electricity that needs to be relocated in there too.

QT/Frag tank platform is in, had to wait for the water barrel to see where everything was going to land. Getting ready to run 2 dedicated 20A circuits for the fish stuff, then FRP. Stay tuned!

That's what was recommended to me. I'm doin a 120 tank with a 60 gal sump. I want the option to add reactors or UV sterilizers etc., if need be. The sump will be under the tank, do you have another suggestion?

No I actually think it's great idea especially since you don't have to run it full power. Was just curious! I'm using a DC6000 and it has been great.

Looks like I'm only a few hours from you. I live in Columbia.
