TAZZY'S 75G REEF (pic intensive)

Please try cloudy, and set the camera to P and -1. That will give me a point to work from. Your manual settings does not look right, and I don't have a place to start.

Can you set a color temp in custom WB? I can on my camera, but I don't know if that is a feature on the S5.

ok here is one with the cloudy setting it looks green to me

Do you have a ton of green cyano on the rocks? I have not seen a camera have such a hard time with color as what you are having. How do pictures that are not tank pictures look? Is the color good in those?

As for the pictures you posted the on at -1 looks best to me, for exposure anyway. Does the S5 have an option for a color temp white balance?

color temp white balance i dont think it has that the pic that looks closest to actual is this one

IMG_0437.jpg

and that one is custom wb with 0 exposure comp

The highlights are blown in that last one, and it still has a LOT of green in it. Try it with that WB at -1, it will at least get the highlights back. As for the color, I think you need to keep working on that WB... OR add more blue to the tank! ;)

ok working on adding more blue with the lighting and corals

i know some of the green you see is actualy green coraline i am still working on killing that demon bryopsys finaly got the mg up to where it is said to be toxic to it so fingers crossed i will start seeing it die off here very soon

i will post another pic with the custom and -1 setting for your review thanx for all your help mike

No problem Marc, it takes a lot of trial and error to get it right, and once you learn what works and what doesn't, it gets easier to do it at the next tank. Practice makes perfect, and with digital, it is a LOT cheaper to learn then it was when I was learning with 35mm film and a notebook. ;)

lol i hear ya since didgital you can just deleate and dont have all the costs of developing
