AIO 40gal by IM. Using an AI prime with about 30 pounds live 10 pound dry rock and 40 pounds carib sea live sand.
Had a diatom bloom around week 2 but it has mostly cleared up. I added 4 nassarius snails about a week ago and today acclimated my first pair of clowns yesterday. I had to remove my starter damsel fish because they were way too aggressive toward my clown fish. This caused me to remove all my live rock so I could fetch them so you notice the aquascape change and a little cloudiness.

Thanks! Im not 100% sure but it's deff going to be a reef. I am heading to NOLA for a couple days on business so when I return will be picking up a couple softies and maybe a couple more playmates

I have the same tank.:) What skimmer are you using?

I currently don't have a skimmer yet. possibly down the road. What kind did you go with?
Being new to the hobby, I am unaware of most upgrades. I typically just ask questions and friends.

It came with skimmate ghost, also I found this company called A Purple Reef that makes rock and sand I plan on getting mine from there should check em out

Look at my thread in my signature. I use a Tunze 9004 skimmer which is the most common one used on the Fusion 40 tank by owners it is mounted on the left hand side over flow area. I just put a ceramic piece in my tank made be the Alternative Reef a sponsor on the forum. I designed it to hold the corals and give me room in the tank.

Any suggestions for what type of corals and fish I should add next and how much? I don't want to overload but certainly am ready for some color :p

I am by no means am someone to take advice from, I am new as well but some of my corals that have done well are my trumpets, Favia, and zoa's which come in a wide variety of colors. I know that polyps are easy to grow my clove is huge, but I know some don't like how they can spread everywhere. My favorite so far is my hammer, it has such beautiful movement in the water.

Great thank you. I cant wait to stock a few things once I get back from New Orleans. Might go shopping Sunday after my water change ;)
