Can someone suggest what I can do with my temperature? When the LED light is on I have it lying on the top plastic that acts like a glass top.... It's set to 73 but the temperature gets up to 80 because the heat from the light and plastic warms it up.im new to this salt tank and the fish seem to be doing really good. Im nervous w the temp changing so much. Should I raise the light off the plastic? Do I buy a cooling fan
Thanks in advance

You’ll need to mount the light and suspend it over the tank. The plastic is holding too much heat it. Also, when you take the plastic off, your evaporation rates will increase dramatically (my 135 gal tank evaporates over a gallon per day). Consider an ATO if you don’t already have one.
