I've got a small problem with bryopsis growing in my zoanthids and it is driving me crazy.
I'm trying the Tech M approach with high mag over a 2 week period.

I used the Tech-M when I had a bryopsis problem. I jacked the mag up to 2000 for about 6 weeks and it killed all the bryopsis off. I pulled it out with my fingers as it got weak. My went from a dark green to pale and it came off real easy.

Ok, going in a side ways direction with the phosphate angle, do you think that some frag plugs attract phosphate more that others?
Say,,ceramic vs. aggrocrete?
I believe the arragocrete ones seem to absorb the phosphate more than the ceramic ones. It may also have something to do with some people making their own plugs with used or dirty sand.

One piece I really like I got from flricordia ( I think) is some lunar eclipes that are fairly small (compared to others I have) and on a ceramic disk. There is almost no mat and no stalk and it's going to be a real bear getting them off that disk.
I just bought 3 gallons of Tech M and I am treating the whole 240 gallon tank.
