Hey Reef2Reef family,
Friends sorry I have been out of touch but.....
I never thought I'd be writing this post, but unfortunately life has a way of changing our plans.
Because of some health issues and a few unexpected curveballs that life has thrown my way, I've made the difficult decision to break down my reef. This hobby has been a huge part of my life for over 40 years, and this system was built to be the one I'd enjoy for many years to come. Needless to say, this wasn't an easy decision.
For those who know me, you know I don't cut corners. I spent a lot of time planning every piece of equipment, every component, and every detail of this setup. It wasn't built on a budget—it was built the way I wanted it done. If you take a look through the this thread https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/2...l-sump-breaking-down-system-for-sale.1064038/, I think you'll see just how much thought and care went into it.
The system is located in Dutchess County, NY. I'd really love to see it go to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have and continue what I've started.
If you're interested or have any questions, please send me a message. I'm happy to provide more information, pictures, or discuss the setup.
Thank you to everyone here who has shared advice, experiences, and encouragement over the years. This community has always been one of the best parts of the hobby, and I truly appreciate all of you.
Hopefully someday I'll be back with another reef. Until then, I hope this one gets a great new home.
Our own slice of the ocean into which one throws money. Happy reefing.
