Bali Green Slimer

I swear I have kept just about everything else from anemones to clams to acropora and EVERY time I have tried a Slimer it doesn't grow at all and dies.

It's considered one of the easiest SPS. LOL!

I can’t keep goniopora at all. I’ve been keeping acros, montis, trachys, elegance’s, zoas, acans, wilsonis, torches, micro’s, favias, and even more in my mixed reef for years.

But never a goniopora. They just stay sucked in shrivel away in my tank. Maybe too much flow.

That would make me cry.

If it turns out I can’t grow acans in this tank, I’m ripping it all out.

I honestly don't know why either... LPS in general don't do great in my tank, although my goni, blasto and torch corals are doing just fine. I'm currently having moderate success with some echinata and war coral, they aren't dying but they also haven't grown in about 2-3 months.

Acropora...any kind...doesn’t matter- white band disease, bleaching. So I stay away from them and go with mainly Zoanthids, Paly’s, LPS and some easier SPS.

For me it’s leather corals! I can keep every other coral up to acropora, but don’t have success with leathers (water too clean?)

What’s your one thing you can’t keep?

Leather Mushroom, Zoanthid Corals (although my newest one that I got for free seems to be doing well). Can't kill my Euphyllia Corals though, despite my best noobish efforts. :D Add Diamond Watchman Gobies to the list. Had one that made it about a year and then one that didn't last a few months.

Montipora....I can keep some acropora, and seriotopora, stylophora, pavona are doing really well, but as soon as a Monti enters my tank it is doomed....shame though, I really would want a forest fire but after 3 attempts I'm done.
