Looks great!

But I thought it was going to be an in wall build. Do you still have plans for that or no?
I'm going to open wall behind the tank to give access to sump and back of the tank i am finding it very difficult to reach across the tank from the front panel lol top of the tank is 6'1"
the other reason i felt like i would lose not only two viewing panels but i thought id lose the real depth of the tank to the garage. I'm trying to figure out how to accomplish this so the i can close it up to retain heat and cooling my wall is heavily insulated as where i live the winters dip into the teens and triple digits in the summers California High Desert
and trying to avoid the fish room at this point sounds good but not practical to sacrifice my garage.

Great build, love the stand, something I am looking to do on my new build. :)
i the love the stand my only advice would be make it your last stand as it was IMHO very expensive . I've been able to build every big stand for my 90 150 180 225 gallon tanks for maybe 1/5 the cost. Most quotes i was given were within a few hundred dollars plus shipping from some states
you may source it differently then i did to cut cost but was worth every penny because i wanted to build this as my last reef tank so i spared no expense . lol last build i don't know how many times I've said that. According to the Boss my wife i will not be getting a bigger tank ever ever ever plus i told her if she let me build it i wouldn't do another ;).

That looks awesome. I'm putting my 80/20 stand together and was curious what materials you used on the top and bottom? Wood?

How did you fasten it down?

TIA

Replacing water change station 45gallon water changes just aren’t enough for the new system
Will post old system for sale in the dry goods for sale forum
Here’s a couple of pics I just finished plumbing them together
Took a different approach using one Jandy valve instead of two ball valves and a y splitter per tank
Each tank has a submersible pump to mix the saltwater and continually moving the RO water
One turn of the Jandy valve on the RO container will redirect water to the salt mixing container and one turn of the Jandy valve on the salt mixing container will redirect water directly into the display tank
First pic old system

Update pic tank is thriving
Hey man sorry to change the subject but, how did you get the wood panels to fasten on to the stand itself? I’m assuming they’re removable doors? Been wondering how these stands work for a while! Also tank looks amazing!

I used L brackets fixed to the inside track of the 80/20 for a recessed look and to expose the 80/20 it’s self.
Then I recessed magnets into the back side of the panels to line up with the L brackets that holds the in place. I think they are rare earth magnets 50 lbs very strong.
