Thanks to our secret Santa, I picked up a few more corals (GSP for back wall, pulsing Xenia and red monticaps) on sale, a royal gramma, and a Diamond Watchman Goby from SAQ.

My new lid from Clear View Lids is on its way as well

Everything is doing amazing. Except my Kenya. Very dramatic. My turbo ran it over

Sadly, my Pink Kenya Tree passed away. It’s been retracted for some time and now looks like parts of it are drying out?

It’s been a while since I updated this thread.

Fish are doing amazing. Added a Xenia. Moved some rock. Added a power head. My devils hand coral has grown so much .

Future plans:
- get a 175g for the living room. (Without my wife knowing.)

-upgrade sump to a 20g with refugium

-more corals and fish (looking at a reef safe wrasse)

I think she will notice the 175G elephant in the room and don't think you can gaslight someone enough to make them believe it was there when we bought the house......

I am not finding much local to me. I probably just need to reach out to my local club and someone will throw a rock of it at me.

I want to set up a pulsing xenia refugium. Original plan was a 11G bookshelf aquarium remote mounted on the wall above my DT but wife wasn't super keep on it. So it will go in the fist chamber of my sump, help catch all the crap that spills over the filter socks since i usually forget to replace them often enough.

a whole tank of Xenia is mesmerizing to watch. To bad it will be locked away in the stand

Oh snap - I almost forgot to add this. I should probably update my original post too.

April 29th I upgraded my sump to a 20H, with a future refugium setup.

Updated the AI primes to the BRS setting rec’s for a 40B and acclimating for 10 days starting at 50%, especially with the new frags.

Finding a lot of red Coraline algae (confirmed with baster and scraping).

A new command center in the works to go on the left side of the tank. I hate having my controllers so close to my sump like I do now, plus, if I have to work on the sump, it’s hard to get my arms in.

I have an iPad playing around collecting dust, so I’ll use it for all my fish apps/monitoring/dosing and it’ll stay with the aquarium. I’ll have them on my phone as well, for vacations and such.

Waiting on a few holsters to come in. Back side will be(hopefully) house my dosing pump for alk stability.
