The comb jellyfish is a midwater - deep sea jellyfish that is small, beautiful, and does not sting. I have seen them for sale. They're colors are incredible. People have kept them in jellyfish only aquariums. Because of their small size, and their lack of cnidocytes, could i add one to my tank? I doubt my fish will eat it or hurt it, as i have only peaceful fish and will only ever have peaceful fish. Could i add one to my tank? Sorry for the stupid question

I would believe your sump will kill them. They will get caught on a power head and destroyed, caught on the teeth of the overflow and wont be able to move.

Jellyfish have to have a very specific type of tank setup. Preferably round/circular with circular flow. They can tear and/or get trapped very easily. In a normal reef type tank the power heads would blow them all over the place and mulch them up.
