I'm sure people here remember the original "python" gravel vac that was popular a few years ago. The only reason I've kept mine around at this point is quite frankly because the tubing that came with the kit is AMAZING.

It's the most kink resistant, flexible, durable tubing I've ever used in my years of planted freshwater and salt tanks!

My problem though is the stuff I currently have is absolutely non-transparent black and I'd love to get more of it in bulk but I'm not sure exactly what kind of tubing it is.. Does anyone happen to know so I can buy a huge roll of it? I really need new tubing for r/o and water change stuff.

I keep buying the vinyl and braided tubing at Home Depot thinking "that roll doesn't look kinked".. Ha!

I love that thing.. Mine is about 20 years old and other than replacing a few parts, it works awesome.

Same here.

Other than buying a extension kit ( 25') I've never seen this exact hose anywhere.

We use it to fill our kids swimming pool with.. Hook it up to the sink in our bathroom, feed it through the kitchen/sunroom, out the door, and we have a warm water swimming pool in about an hour :) It has uses other than the tanks. Lol
