Just a reminder for those using conductivity probes that you will get swings based on temperature if running an apex even though it is supposedly temperature corrected.

What you see includes a control day where my AWC was off for 24 hours and as you see the trend did not change.

Does it help to have the temp probe plugged into the salinity module?

Doesnt seem to...the image is from a module thar has both a temp and a conductivity probe in the same EC module.

Here is the graph with my temp probe in the sump.

It does make me wonder if there is a setting in the main setup profiles that needs updating...

Update.

Embarrassing, most likely user error. My control module has the left side busted and it looks like temp correction was at 0.0 instead of 2.2.

I set this up a couple months ago and it took me this long to catch it....

The issue as it turns out, was that i had VERY little temperature fluctuation over the summer so i didnt catch it.

I had my controller set to hold the temp between 79.6 and 79.9.

After considering my back ups and redundancy systems i elected to put a JBJ true temp BETWEEN the heater and the apex.

The JBJ swings my temp between 79.0 and 81.0 and THAT is when i caught the Salinity swings and then realized it tracked with temp more than expected.

I posted before i realized the issue with my controller settings.

Live and learn. Apologies for the initiak bad graph.
