The right tripod really does make the difference.

Just picked up a Manfrotto 055XPROB with 488RC4 ballhead. The center column can go horizontal so that I can get over my frag vat and shoot directly over the water, all with the stability of a tripod. I forgot to turn my ISO down (these were at 400), but I think they turned out pretty well!

All in all the setup is very nice! But I'll stick to my $30 tripod. :D
