The time has come.........

I have been debating this for awhile now and have come to the conclusion that I need something new and challenging. This Saturday it will 26 years I have been doing saltwater or reefs. I plan on selling off all the corals and fish and breaking my tank down only to re-set it up and build a vivarium for Dart Frogs.....Still some wildly beautiful colors and awesome creatures to deal with just not the reef type. I have enjoyed my 26 years of reefing and it has been and still is a passion that I will always have. I want to say thank you to all the friends I have made here at R2R. You guys/gals are some of the best people on the net and the reason why this site has been what it is. It has been a joy to reef with you and become friends with many of you. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for all the years of kinship and laughs.....

Hate to see you go but that new project sounds really cool. You gonna stay on as a mod or are you bowing out all together? 26 years of saltwater - you've seen it all then.....

I will still be around just not a Mod as I will have a lot of research to do on Dart Frogs......I will still post a bit but my time will be taken up and that wouldn't be fair to Rev and the Mod team.......I plan to keep all my equipment just in case see as how that is the expensive stuff to get in the beggining and don't want to have to do that again.....I could never not come on R2R....Plus once I get this thing in operation I will want to share it with my reefing friends.......

I would love to see some pics of the dart frog setup. Those things are awesome and very colorful. Should be a nice break from the norm. Smart to hold onto your reef stuff. You know as soon as you sell it, you'll get the bug again......lol

Definitely sorry to see you leaving the reef hobby, you are a great asset to R2R and the community. Look forward to some updates on the dart frog project. Good luck!

What kind of dart frogs are you looking at keeping? I use to breed Powder Blue Tincs, 6 spot Auratus, and Azureus. Then I switched to reefs.

Thanks......I might stick around to help with Mod work but have to talk to Rev and once my research is done on Dart Frogs........As far as the hobby is concerned I will be leaving.....It has been a serious joy ride for sure.....I plan to keep all the equipment since thaqt it is the biggest cost of getting started......
