You were right. Saw another today and it was really really pretty. I think it was either a female or young male and it was very vibrant. Mad though because I busted my camera by bonking it on my tank to tell my diving partners about an octopus.

Of course after that is when I saw the potters, a male A chrysocephalus, and later 4 female A chryso’s

After playing with dragons yesterday and having this guy swim up to us today I think this is why wrasse are my favorites
Non healthy potters will look blah also. Stress removes some color but not as much as some others. Pectoral area back will loose color when they do like an 1980’s gadded paint job. Google it lol. Personality by far low on my list. Love of color and the fish it’s my top. Yea tied with viviens but their personality rock.

I will hand you a huge pile of cash if you get a potters to me. Pm if interested

Guess who said f qt and finally moved black tang to display with Choats. Me. Tang in at lights out and next morning it looked like it rolled in a sugar bowl. Choats in copper. Waited a week as I wasn’t going to medicate any fish but it ‘s in Choats gills. Found it breathing stuck to a powerhead. Fingers crossed as she is weak but also buried last night so I have hope.

You know exactly what it is. There is no red light 50ft down and lineatus doesn't have that exact pattern of dots.
Hold on, I'm watching this 360p video over again. Yup, still can't make out dots. But I'd guess chrysocephalus if it had a red tail? Is the red not showing up on camera?

Red spectrum disappears first underwater then green. Its why we use blue light for corals. They don't get red and green lights so they don't use it for photosynthesis.

You saw the potters leopard though too right?! It was a bit beat up but it flared its fins for me.

I did not. I saw a blackish fish swimming next to the black and white wrasse that may have had a white spot pattern. What camera are you using?

The fish I focus on at the end of the video. It's my iPhone in a case.

This is what it looks like on my screen:
Screenshot_20250114-090145.png

Clearly that is either a tang, wrasse, angel, butterfly, basslet, grouper or shark. So not sure why I'm complaining...
Uggh that's really annoying
I get much better quality when I press the link. Like its still hard to see but you can tell its a potters.

I often wonder the same about my links. I set them at 2100p before hitting share, but no idea if other people get that resolution. I believe you about the potter's though! Bit jealous too.
