Given the availability and high growth rate of some coral, it seems like they become weeds sometimes.
Are there any coral that you think should always be “free”? And do you give them away too?

Montipora digitata. I literally can’t give it away! Same goes for a Bali green slimer

With you on the digi’s. Above the Cespitularia,(sorry for the blue light) I toss my digi’s on that flat rock. Looks like the back of a porcupine. But I kinda like to get creative with them. It can be fun to see pieces fuse together and sometimes for a bit, there’ll be some pieces growing in a shape. I once had some branches that almost made a heart, and from the right perspective, it looked like a branch was going through, like cupids arrow. Ironically this was last February, but I ended up fragging it with my hand in the tank doing work. Also had one abutted to the back of my tank wall below my overflow and it puddled, so now if I’m cleaning and see a frag on the sand, I’ll epoxy it to the back.
