How long have they been like that?

Yeah, I would get rid of them. You can use a razerblade to get them off of the rock

How is the rest of your tank's livestock doing?

Gonis are ok, GSP thriving, palys ok I don’t have much trying to get tank in order before I get corals

You can just smack them towards the base with something hard and they should break off. I like the handle of a decent sized screwdriver pesonally

I did this thanks

Any way to get algae in order? I know this could be long answer
do you know your nutrient levels? It all starts with your nutrient export and manual removal. After that theres other means that will help but i cant give much more advice without knowing the larger picture of your husbandry routine.

Nitrates 5 po4 .1

As long as nutrient levels aren't too low, you can expect something else (better) to grow in this algae's place. Your levels are already low enough....nitrates on the verge of too low.

First things first: Manual removal (by you) and...
Second: ....upgrading your cleanup crew to make sure your cleaning stays clean.

Do you know what happened to make the coral and algae like it is now?
