Hello. I purchased a corral online. I’m the bag when it came I found a flat worm. I removed corrals from plugs and dipped in corral rx. I didn’t see anymore pests. I then rinsed and put into my tank. Should I be worried ? Do I need to redip in a few days ? I don’t have a qt setup for corrals.

Hard to say but looks more like a bristleworm.

Picture is a bit blurry but flatworms are only about 1-2mm wide and 4 mm long.

If you look closely you can see two eyes on one end. I have seen a lot of bristle worms. This one had no thorns and was flat. I’m just wondering what else do I do if I see this on a new frag?

Look like bristle worms.

Hmm if you look closely I see two eyes on one end. It was flat too not round like a bristle. It’s too late I dipped and put it in my tank. I’m just wondering if I’m sure it’s a flatworm do I do anything else? I read the dip doesn’t kill eggs.

There are literally thousands of types of bristle worms.

Never seen a typical flatworm that large.

Looks like some type of flat worm. I don’t see any bristles and doesn’t look to me like a bristle worm. If there were eggs on the coral.. that sucks.

I didn’t see any eggs on it. But it makes me wonder if there was any. Just redip in a few days ?

It does kind of look like these. Do I just redip in a few days incase of eggs ? Was I dumb to put this in my tank if I saw this in the bag?
Another dip is a good idea. The little beast will try and return to the coral if it's not eaten first. It's best to throw away critters from the dip unless positive that it's beneficial.
