think its time for a new skimmer

went from a 180 with a 45gl sump, to a 180 with a 100gl sump and 80 gl frag tank. been running a downdraft skimmer on previous set up (etss 900) and worked very very well. But seem that with new set up its not working like it use to so im looking for a larger skimmer. Ive only used the Etss for the 5 years ive been in hobby and have no clue about " needle wheel" skimmers.

Have 6 tangs and 2 clowns ,with the hope of adding more smaller fish soon.

also wolud like the skimmer to be some what overrated for my water volume as i plan on upgrading once i move in a few years to hopefully a 300+ display

Looking for something external that doesnt use alot of energy!

I just recently bought an aquamaxx cone skimmer. I love the thing! I've had it set up for 1 week. I'd highly recommend!

Ended up getting the SM252 skimmer by SKimz. had it little over a week now and Im VERY VERY pleased with it so far.
