... Or clearing any other image hosting site.

When clearing your photos, try not to delete the ones you have put in important guides, how to's, build threads, ID threads, eye candy threads, etc.

I have seen too many threads go down due to the pictures being "removed or deleted".

It is very sad to see great information just flushed down the drain because of this.

Much of the wonderful information that you can find on R2R and other Reefing forums hangs in the balance of someone clicking delete on their photobucket.

It may be wise to have a hosting site meant just for Reefing. That way the pics of your Reefing stuff are not "crowding" your personal photos. Go to a free site like photobucket and store loads of Reefing pics without disturbing your personal photos.

If for some reason you run out of space on a free hosting site go to another one LOL. There are tons of them and they should not be charging you anything, so go ahead. I am not sure if they delete accounts due to lack of use. So it may be a good idea just to log on and "bumble around" every now and then.

Feel free to post any comments, concerns, suggestions, etc. this is an important issue.

One other thing to note... there is a photo album feature on R2R as well where you can store images without filling up your personal accounts. This also prevents any of the "exceeded bandwith" issues attributes to too many photos on sites such as Photobucket if the user hasn't upgraded their PB account to premium.

I never delete any photos in photobucket for that reason. I have no idea where I have sent them so I let them ride :) good idea about the reefing folder to not jumble up other (less important) photos :)

i totally agree with this...i can think of one thread here on R2R that is amazing but half the pics are gone!

Please link so I can see what I can do!

Great Advise, Being newer on here not sure there is a Photo Upload like a few other places I browse. If not it would be cool to have that on here so the data could stay on the site for archives and what not.

I use folders labeled "posted" for my posted photos, the problem comes in when i am excited about posting something and forget to A. resize, and B. select the final folder desired.
