Calling all Biocube (or other all-in-one) owners:

I'm debating changing up my filtering and looking for some feedback. Currently back chambers are as follows:

Chamber 1: Heater
Chamber 2: inTank media basket (filter floss/purigen/chemipure elite) and a media bag filled with Seachem matrix.
Chamber 3: Return pump

I've had the Seachem Matrix since I set the tank up 4 years ago but I'm debating removing that and replacing it with the inTank fuge basket so I can keep chaeto and copepods. I like the idea of (hopefully) having a self-sustained pod population.

Anyone have success doing this or suggestions on why not to make the switch?
